"This is an amazing place to send your children. My son started when he was one. This can be a tough time for new parents. Our son like many cried when left. The staff at Attenborough were amazing. Always putting us at ease and letting us call as many times through the day as we wished. This really helped rather than worrying all day at work.

My son did settle and this was due to him forming a strong a real bond with his key worker. The staff at Attenborough know our son really well and can tell when he may be a little under the weather. They always look after him as well as you’d wish. The nursery also put up with us wanting to use reusable nappies. They’re keen to mirror what we do at home as much as possible. Including nap schedules and food preferences. My son has made great developments, has gained confidence and has developed real bonds with many members of staff. "Attenborough nursery is just fab, the staff are warm, friendly and child focussed. The environment is clean and different activities are set up each and throughout the day, my child always enjoys attending, has learnt so much, talks about his day and has healthy balanced meals. More recently a private Facebook group has been set up allowing to see pictures of what your child has been doing and recommended home activities for further learning are shared." J R (mother)

"Feel when I leave my children at the nursery, they are in very safe hands. The staff have a lovely rapport with the children they always seem happy and content. I think this is a wonderful nursery with caring, helpful staff, who actually want to be with the children and who are willing to muck in and do all sorts of activities which the children really enjoy.

We love the nursery and the pre-school, can't recommend it enough to people! Staff [are] very understanding, friendly, caring and full of advice for new parents.

I'm really impressed with the nursery. My daughter is very happy there.

Having moved both our children from a previous nursery we were not 100% satisfied with we couldn't believe the difference in all sections of the nursery and pre-school. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending you to friends and family and feel more than happy to leave my children in your care.

What I like best about ADN is that it's very clear that the staff really care and are really invested in the children they look after. There's a genuine feeling of involvement, trust and friendship that is evident every time I've set foot in the nursery's various rooms.

About our food

We thought the menus were very well teeling that you have helped us enormoushought and balanced. We were impressed about your flexibility on bottle feeding issues and alternative meals. Overall I have the fly in the transition to solid meals.

Her passion, love and care to all the children there is obvious every day when we drop off / pick up M. - you seem to do a very good job recruiting the 'right' people.

We are very pleased with your recent Ofsted report and wanted to give our congratulations. Having sent A. to a nursery before she started at Attenborough which received outstandings across the board, there is absolutely no comparison - we sing your praises to anyone that will listen and we were in no doubt that you would breeze through the inspection. We just wanted to say a big thank you for all you do for our A. and a special thanks to Lili and Elma.

I just wanted to write a little thank you note and let you know what a difference you have made to our little family. Although not unhappy with our previous nursery I never felt completely happy leaving A. there, something niggled at me and left me feeling guilty every time I waved goodbye. When it came to going back to work after the birth of Z. we decided to have a look around some other nurseries and that's when we fell in love with yours! It's so homely and a real effort is put in to finding fun things for them to do and getting them to try new things. ALL the staff have a genuine interest in the children and there is real excitement when they do something new! Both girls get excited when we set off in the morning, and knowing they are both being stimulated, challenged and lovingly cared for goes a long way to help reduce that working mum's guilt!!! Thank you.

Since moving J. from another nursery to Attenborough, he has been much happier and is always smiling when we drop him off and pick him up. He loves being outside and discovering all the different activities with the lovely girls in the Papillon room. He is clearly thriving and we feel very fortunate to have found such a wonderful nursery, thank you.

After what had been a very negative experience of nursery prior to moving M. to Attenborough, I didn't think that it would be possible to find somewhere I would actually be happy leaving him. Thanks to the hard work and care of the staff, M. has settled in brilliantly. He loves his time there, and does a great range of activities. His Dad and I have complete peace of mind knowing that he is receiving the highest level of care. If only all nurseries were this good. Thank you Attenborough!
